From novice to advanced, our goal is to create magic in the studio. Our workshops will mostly be an opportunity for you to build you portfolio. We supply the models, you bring your camera, and see the results. Most workshops will have a number of set stations. You just set your camera to the setting, put on the trigger and shoot away. You learn by doing.

The Detroit Metro - Strobist, Lighting & Photography Collective is a group for photographers who love to add or alter the light of a scene to create impact and mood in an image. We focus on having fun and learning the basics of off camera lighting, then improving our skills from there.
